MRI is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join our growing team! This role will focus on gathering data, structuring data and driving actionable business insights. We will be looking for someone to drive business value from data and business intelligence necessary for supporting the mission, vision strategies, objectives, and goals of Payments Services. This role will also develop forecasting, standardized reporting and ad-hoc analysis to help with business decisions.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provides insights into:
    • Payment Product Operations (transaction success rates, chargeback performance, payment risk)
    • Commercial analytics around revenue maximization through various levers:
      • Pricing
      • GTM bundle formation
      • Pro-Active retention management
  • Optimize data processes to conduct core functions such as forecasting, reporting, billing and reconciliation, monthly close.
  • Understands that information and data are key business asset and operationalizes the application of data and information in order to deliver optimal business performance, through maximization of revenue and optimization of expense and risk
  • Collaborates cross functionally in the formulation of data-driven business decisions
  • Stays informed and keeps up with the latest industry trends and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates
  • Capability of effective planning and priority setting
  • Knowledge of consumer-focused financial services/ payments and analytics practices
